Update on Riley
Last Monday we had to go to the specialist in Oisterwijk, Lisette Overduijn. After the x-ray’s of Riley’s neck she advised us to have a CT scan.
Yesterday Riley had his CT scan. He was sedated again. The CT scan took an hour. 30 minute longer then they sad. To my surprise I did not get the result of the CT scan. They sad the specialist (lisette) would get the result and contact us.
Very disappointed of course. You’re so anxious to hear the result and then you still have to wait.
This morning I spoke to the specialist. To my surprise it was very good news. He does not have a neck hernia! And there is no fracture! So happy with this result. Did not dear to hope for this. Still a very long way to go. He has to go back to the physic
every week. Let’s hope he will improve. Were now back to square one. All his muscles are gone. The massages and extra exercises will help him get back to were he was. Don’t know if he can do aqua training immediately. We will see.
